Drummer needed for all-girl rock band! – West Haven

She Eats Planets is looking for a new drummer!

What we're looking for:

~Female drummer and the ability to sing backing vocals in the alto/soprano range

~Someone who is reliable, will learn music on time, has their own equipment for gigs, transportation to practice and will show up to practice each week. Practice is every Sunday, extra practice as needed.

~Stage presence! The more fun you have on stage, the better!

We're currently writing our own songs and will be recording an EP as soon as we finish. To get an idea of music we like, we have played covers of the following bands/singers: Weezer, Sublime, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joan Jett, Save Ferris, Blind Melon, The Donnas, Gin Blossoms, Barenaked Ladies, The Butchies, The Veronicas, Josie and the Pussycats, and David Bowie.

We currently have four members: Sara (22) - lead singer, Tal (23) - bass, Jay (20) - who currently plays drums but will be playing guitar once we find a new drummer and Laura (25) - guitar.

We're all very serious about music, but we ALWAYS have fun with it. We all agree that making music is pointless if you can't have fun doing it. We're bandmates, but we're also good friends. We have fun on stage and off and we hope you'll want to join the fun!
